CDL Training at Little or No Cost!

Don't fall for the "free cdl training" claim. We all know that very little in this world is free. In your search for the best truck driving school, you may have come across claims offering training at little or no cost. Take caution when you hear these claims because they're just not accurate. Remember, you get what you pay for; and eventually, you're going to pay for it.

Many trucking companies offer what is called "contract training." With contract training, you sign a contract with the company that obligates you to work for them for a set amount of time (sometimes years). In addition to the contractual amount of employment time, you are often paid at a wage lower than that of the industry standard. This is certainly not "free." Drivers who have gone this route often complain of how long it takes to "pay the company back."
